Reflection on the Experience
I am glad I chose Joan Miro as inspiration. Researching his life and thoughts on life gave me insights into his work. I am even more impressed with the art he created. Practice was the most tedious portion of the design cycle. I was challenged by color and became frustrated. I was doing one study after another and became factory like in production. I had to take a two day break from my work to come back with a fresh motive. Lastly, Venturing into world of 2D art was fun, but I am going to do a 3D project for my next art piece. I have a few ideas on doing a figure sculpture. One of my ideas is to translate Joan Miro's use of line into wire form.
